New Music

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve updated this. I’ve been terribly busy with some new material. I’ve got a few new tracks that are finished, and am in the middle of starting recording on a few more. My goal is to get a new, full-length album done by the end of 2014.

For more information check out Facebook.com/JonathenWest or check out Facebook.com/iHarrisonBlythe for a sneak peak at the big surprise and how I am re-inventing my musical style!

By the way... wanna hear something that's gonna infuriate you? Do you remember *name deleted to avoid lawsuits*? She looks exactly like Lana Del Rey.

  • Jonathen:

Ugh, I figured. I saw a picture of her a few years ago and thought of that recently. I can't believe it, that stupid bitch doesn't deserve it. You know what will make you feel better though? She used to sit directly behind me in church for years... she's completely tone deaf.

New Music

I just finished a brand new track last week called, “Quiet.” It’s sort of electronic, fused with some acoustic elements. I think Imogen Heap, Bjork, Kate Bush and Royksopp fans will enjoy it the most. Or perhaps hate it.

Anyway, I’m not sure if it’s going to be released as a single, or if I’ll wait until I have enough songs for an EP or maybe even my first full-length album. The future’s a little hazy, especially since Art of Monday, who produced my second release WIRED, returns from Tokyo in less than four weeks. He and I will be teaming up to make music together as a duo-act. So this might delay the release or production of any new music I make.

But make no mistake, between school, my new musical venture and house-busbanding, I will be coming out with new music in the next year or so.

But I just wanted to thank everyone who was so supportive during the creation/release of Too Late and all its remixes. The project nearly killed me, so I really appreciate everyone who took the time to listen, write reviews in stores, request the songs on Sirius XM BPM, etc. You’re all so wonderful.
